Cookie Consent

A cookie banner that really does the job: Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and your other tools only load once a visitor accepts, and what they refuse is deleted. Accept, reject or choose category by category, in five languages, styled like the rest of your site.

  • Blocks trackers until consent
  • Deletes refused cookies
  • Google Consent Mode v2
  • Accept · Reject · Customize

What Cookie Consent does for you

  • BlocksHolds your trackers back until consentGoogle Analytics, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar load only after the visitor accepts their category. Tagged scripts and embeds wait the same way.
  • Cleans upDeletes what was refusedRefusing or withdrawing a category deletes its cookies on your site and reloads the page, so nothing keeps tracking.
  • Talks to GoogleGoogle Consent Mode v2Google's tags receive the visitor's choice, as Google Ads requires in Europe, and every choice is pushed to the dataLayer.
01

Accept, reject or choose

Three clear buttons, Reject as easy to press as Accept, and a settings panel with one switch per category. The choice is kept for six months, then asked again.

  • Corner box, bar along the edge, centered popup, or a settings panel inside your privacy page
  • A floating cookie button and any '#cookie-settings' link to change your mind later
  • English, French, Spanish, German and Italian, following the visitor's browser

02

Nothing runs before a yes

Paste your Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, TikTok, LinkedIn, Clarity or Hotjar ID: the plugin loads each tool itself, only once its category is accepted. Any other script or embed waits too, with one attribute.

  • Google Consent Mode v2: 'denied' by default, updated with the visitor's choice
  • Tag your own scripts with data-category="analytics" and embeds with data-src
  • Each choice is pushed to the dataLayer, for your Tag Manager triggers

Refused means removed

When a category is refused or withdrawn, its cookies are deleted (Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok, Clarity, Hotjar and the names you add) and the page reloads, so a tool that already ran stops.

  • Deleted on every page and every domain level of your site
  • Add any cookie name, with * as a wildcard
  • Change the policy version and everyone is asked again

Questions about Cookie Consent

Something else? Ask me directly.

It gives you what the rules ask of a banner: nothing optional before consent, Reject as easy as Accept, a choice per category, a way to change your mind, and the choice kept for a limited time. Compliance also depends on the tools you use and what your policy says, so it isn't legal advice.
